First post


This is a sec 2 question on algebraic manipulation.


Q)





For this question, the important thing to note is that we generally have to simplify by factorization
before we can continue to multiply the 2 fractions together. This applies for many questions of this form.

A)



Do note that a(x-y)+b(x-y) can be simplified into (a+b)(x-y),
just like how 2(x+y)+3(x+y) = (2+3)(x+y)
